7:30pm, overcast, 65 degrees, Conditions could not have been more perfect, low overcast clouds, birds reached excellent height for full performance view. After this kit was finished being judged I never witnessed in all my competitions a kit receiving a round of applause from a very respectful appreciative audience. Maybe we all could learn from the appreciation and respect that this new region has show for the performance displayed by there finalist.

8:00pm, overcast, 62 degrees, Another excellent performance conditions, could not have been better birds, could have reached an extra 100 feet, I think this performance could have been much better and believe it or not a budgie flew into the kit and hampered the performance.

7:30pm, 72 degrees, Had some problems with birds going through the tree. Birds where drifting from the kit costing him breaks and a lot of water falling. There would be two going at the start then five following then three or four following then when some half turns occurred there would have been a mushroom effect with five or six pigeons exiting in different directions but there where also scorable pigeons in the breaks as well. I think he could have scored higher quality and depth if he had kept them closer to the judge they where almost too high. All in all if this kit had got it together they could have put up a far larger score.

Thought there was a possibility of a large score then the pigeon that bumped on the the way out started to drift from the kit now and again and brought other birds with it causing the loss of breaks. Also had a few good breaks missed due to trees.

Clear, 64 degrees, birds flew a nice height, 1st bird down at 3 minutes, 2nd bird down at 11 minutes. After they got disqualified, the down pigeon rose after 20 seconds and started to put on a good show but the competition was already over. Better luck next time.

7:00am, clear, 62 degrees, Within first five minutes, a falcon hit and continued to attack the pigeons. It cut 4-5 pigeons in the attack. The pigeons had enough at 9 minutes and most of them landed. This was the first attack of the competition so far and I hope it is the last.

6:30am, 80 degrees, On release one bird seemed to roll into a tree. Could not call it a down bird because it was not visible. The kit flew up and at 14 minutes another bird landed on the house. I then heard and saw the first pigeon clapping out of the tree. Obviously it could then be called a down bird. Disqualified at 14 minutes.
